The developers have officially confirmed the possible upgrading of Expertise level by saving Gypsum Casts after patch 1.3 goes live.

With January PTR Announcement, the hottest discussions are all around the increasing of the Gear Score up to 625. 

New updates are on the PTR server. We knew about Expedition Modifiers from the December Team Update video, and yes, they added the timer and competition mode (player’s toxicity will be increased by 1000%).

Developers made one more huge step in the right direction of communication with the players, sharing their plans and impressions.

Seems like a new large update is coming. We’ll have a Winter Convergence Festival, Ice Caves and lots of other holiday winter activities. Also some new quests are coming up, but the most important and arguable change is a new Expertise & Gypsum System to replace the High Watermark System.
